Client Success Story: Woody’s Q Shack


The story of Woody’s Q Shack began when Kyle Woodwards’ wife, Michelle gave him a meat smoker as a Christmas gift. Woody’s Q Shack was opened in 2012 as a catering only business. In 2015, the venture expanded to a full-time food trailer and the operation continued to gain in popularity. Just this past Summer, Woody’s Q Shack opened its new permanent restaurant located at the corner of Main Street and San Juan Avenue in Alamosa.

When Kyle Woodward signed Woody's Q Shack up for a digital marketing solution with us at the start of 2020, he was looking to spread some awareness around the opening and drive new customers into his restaurant.

We employed our MAZA Full Funnel Solution to generate new customers for Woody’s Q Shack with paid social ads, bring them back to the restaurant a total of three times, and then encourage them to leave an online review.

Since launching in early January of 2020, we have already earned Kyle a total of 500+ new customers while growing his newsletter list from 0 to 1600+ people living within 10 miles of his restaurant. Additionally, 120+ of those customers left a 5-star review online for Woody’s Q Shack.

Of those 500+ new customers, 200+ of them have been back twice and 100+ of those people have been back a total of three times so far. This is just the beginning for Kyle and we will update this case study as we continue working with him.
